# Launchpad + DAO API

Enabling Seamless Governance at Token Launch

The **Launchpad + DAO API** is designed to help token creators integrate governance functionality directly into the launch process of their tokens. Rather than requiring separate onboarding into a governance platform, this API allows a DAO space to be automatically created on **DVOTE** when a token is launched through a supported launchpad.

This removes the friction of manual setup and provides immediate infrastructure for community-driven decision-making.

### Why Governance at Launch?

Launching a token without governance limits community involvement and long-term sustainability. Governance:

1. **Token Creator Launches Token**\
   Through a launchpad integrated with Meme + DAO API.
2. **DAO Space Automatically Created**\
   A governance space is created on DVOTE using token metadata and creator wallet.
3. **Community Participation Begins**\
   Token holders can immediately participate in governance, starting with proposal creation and voting.
